About Limitless Design MFG

The engineer who designs it is the one who makes it.

Limitless Design MFG is a product design and manufacturing studio in Kitchener, Ontario. We take parts from a sketch, a broken sample or a finished CAD file to something real — designed, printed, finished and, when volumes grow, handed off to tooling properly.

How it started

From a 3D printer to a studio.

Limitless started in 2022 as a 3D printing operation with one goal: make professional-grade manufacturing accessible to the people who usually can’t get a shop to return their call — founders, small manufacturers, researchers and inventors.

It grew the way most good shops do: one client at a time. A replacement part for a production line that couldn’t wait. An enclosure for a medical device heading into its first trial. A full product line, designed and then made at wholesale volume. Today the studio covers SolidWorks design, 3D scanning, SLA and FDM printing, finishing, and the move to injection moulding when printing stops making sense.

It’s run by founder Ethan Lafleur, who handles the engineering on every project himself. When you send a file or a problem, you’re talking to the person who’ll model it, set up the print and check the part before it leaves.

How we work

What you can count on.

✎

An engineer, not a sales desk

Every request is read by the person who’ll do the work, and answered usually within one business day.

⚙

The right process, honestly

We run resin, filament and large-format machines, so we recommend what suits the part — including telling you when printing isn’t the answer.

☉

Your design stays yours

Files and project details are confidential. We sign NDAs on request and only show work publicly with permission.
